MEET JAY

Jay Greener Pastoral Counseling

Our lead pastoral counselor has served over 40 years in ministry, both lay and ordained, with significant time as a Senior Pastor. Jay Greener brings gifts of empathy, compassion, and discernment to journeying alongside leaders in good times, and hard. He has served in multiple denominational settings, from baptist to charismatic to liturgical, as well as across countries and cultures, experiencing both great fruitfulness and crisis. His approach is always affirming and non-judgmental - a trusted confidant and guide who's been there.

Jay is an ordained pastor, a graduate of Wheaton College, Yale Divinity School, and the University of St. Andrews, with additional studies in counseling and spiritual care, including a year long clinical residency.  He is certified as an Enneagram Applications Professional, able to consult you personally, your church or organization with this ancient growth tool. (He also has a healthy dose of Mad Priest.*)

Married 44 years, Jay is a father and grandfather, a musician, and a frequent hiking companion to Wally, his Labrador retriever.
